Nick Kennedy, WA5BDU

WA5BDU Photo

Biography:

I became WN5BDU in January, 1962 at age 13, so now I've been at it 50 years!  My first shack was the storeroom of my Dad's tavern in the tiny town of Subiaco, Arkansas.

I mainly work CW but will venture into voice and data modes occasionally.  Ham interests include DX (a little), contesting, QRP, homebrewing, boatanchors ...

I belong to the ARRL and support diversity of interests in amateur radio.  There's room for everyone!

I QSL 100% by LoTW but also enjoy exchanging paper QSLs via direct mail or the bureau.  For U.S. hams wanting my QSL, it's OK to just send me yours postcard style, no SASE needed, and I'll respond the same way.  I may go a month or so without uploading to LoTW.  If you need me to hurry it up, send me an email.

73 and CU on the bands,
Nick
