The Next 4SQRP Kit

Terry Fletcher, WAĜITP

Terry is one of the key people that work behind the scenes of 4SQRP to bring you the new kits.  In this short presentation, Terry will team up with Jim Kortge to introduce the newest kit to be offered by 4SQRP. 

Biography:

Terry Fletcher, WAĜITP, has been licensed since 1964. First licensed as WNĜITP, he has held Technician, and General licenses and has been an Advanced class since 1976.

He is retired from a Quality Control / Reliability career with John Deere. While obtaining a BS in education at Western Illinois University, he worked at International Resistance Co. (IRC) Burlington, IA, in the Engineering Dept developing new resistor products and manufacturing processes.

He has taught Science in the Burlington, IA school system, and adult education computer classes at Indian Hills Community College, Ottumwa, IA.

At the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant in Middletown IA, he managed the Statistics Dept. and was tasked with improving manufacturing operations.

Career demands and Aviation interests relegated Amateur Radio to a lower priority for a few years. But QRP has re-invigorated his radio and electronic interests and now building and operating consume a significant portion of retirement time.

Terry resides in Ottumwa, Iowa.
