OzarkCon 2012 Banquet Dinner
Friday April 13 at 6:00 PM
Stonehenge Room

This year we are having a buffet for the banquet at the Stone Castle Conference Center.
No need to go out in traffic for Friday evening dinner.
The dinner will be served in the Stonehenge room, conveniently located off the lobby and right next door to the vendor fair and swap meet room.

  • Buffet selections:
    • Garden Salad
    • Meatloaf and Bourbon Chicken
    • Mashed Potatoes and Mac & Cheese
    • Corn and Peas
    • Chocolate Cake and Apple Pie
The price is $21 per adult meal, and since the number of meals must be reported to the caterer on April 10, no banquet tickets will be sold at the door.

Our after dinner speaker will be Jim Kortge, K8IQY.

Program info:
Jim Kortge, K8IQY, will present a Powerpoint program on the Osprey Reintroduction Program of Southern Michigan. The Osprey is a large fish eating bird of prey and is sometimes known as a sea hawk, fish eagle or fish hawk. It is a large raptor, reaching almost 2 feet in length with a 6 foot wingspan. We will learn about how ham radio was used when they could fly and how the chicks were successfully raised and released. Jim was a principal in organizing a group known as "Osprey Watch of Southeast Michigan", OWSEM (http://www.owsem.org) who follow the activities of the returning birds.

Dine with us in Stonehenge.
